Choose the answer you believe in. If you're not signed in yet, your choice is kept while you sign in.

Use Google, X or email. It takes a few seconds and nothing is ever posted for you.
Confirm your mobile number
Once, with a code sent by text message. One number can belong to one account only, and internet numbers like Google Voice aren't accepted.
See the results
Every poll runs for a set period, usually a month. Answers stay sealed until the poll closes, then the totals are released for everyone at once, so nobody just follows the crowd.

A number can belong to only one account, so a second account can't vote again. Only a scrambled fingerprint of it is stored, never the number itself.
New accounts pass an automatic human check from Cloudflare, and throwaway email addresses are blocked.
The database itself confirms each vote: signed in, verified phone, one vote per poll, poll still open. Nothing in the browser can skip these rules.
Verification codes are limited per person, per network and per day, with SMS fraud protection on top.
Nobody sees the numbers while a poll is open, so there's no crowd to follow and no running score to game.
Your vote stays private
Only totals are ever published, never who voted for what.
Change your mind, never vote twice
You can change your answer while a poll is open. Only your latest answer counts, and one account never gets more than one vote.
No answer gets a head start
Everyone sees the answers in their own random order, so being listed first doesn't win votes. Scales like Yes to No are flipped for half of voters, and Not sure always comes last.
Impact points show how much you have done for Anypoll: the polls you voted in, the people you brought in and, soon, what you gave to the Impact Treasury. They have no cash value and are never paid out. Every point stands for a contribution to the public record.

When someone joins through your invite link, confirms a phone and votes.
Profile basics
Year of birth and where you live, asked once when you confirm your phone. Never shown with your name.
Complete your profile
For each of the two sections of your voluntary voter profile: about you, and your news and media. Up to 60 points with the profile basics. Prefer not to say counts too.

Achievement badges are earned once and kept for good. Rank badges follow the leaderboard.
On the leaderboard you appear under a random public name, like Quiet-Otter-4821, never your real name. You can change it once a month or hide from the leaderboard at any time.
