Text alerts terms
Last updated: October 1, 2026
Anypoll Poll Alerts are optional text messages that tell you when new polls go live on Anypoll. They are run by Anytrade Markets, Inc., which operates Anypoll until the Anypoll Foundation takes it over.
How you sign up
You sign up yourself, either by ticking the text alerts box when you confirm your mobile number, or under Notifications in your account menu. The box is never ticked for you, and you don't need text alerts to vote. After you sign up, we send one text to confirm it.
What you get
- A text when new polls go live, with a link to vote. Up to 4 messages a month.
- Texts are sent between 10am and 8pm in your time zone.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- Available for US mobile numbers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How to stop or get help
- Reply STOP to any text to stop all texts. You'll get one last text confirming it. Reply START to sign up again.
- You can also turn text alerts off any time under Notifications in your account menu on anypoll.com.
- Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected].
Your number
We use your number only to send these texts. We never sell, rent or share mobile numbers or text opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Read the privacy policy for how we store your number and consent record, and for how long.
Changes
If these terms change in an important way, we will tell you by text or on the site before the change applies.
